Long long ago .so long ago during our great great .. father's days, everything was communicated with pictures sculputred on stones. trees,mountains, animals and so on. This went on for many years, after somedays these picture become languages and then started speaking words and then sentences. More communication patterns developed over the time period.
Now in 21st century there are lot more communication channels than in any previous generation. See this generation kids, they are more smarter than us, hopefully their kids might be far more smarter than them.
As languages, communications channels evolved over the timeperiod, number of people who want to understand the world also increased, as the media evolved, Picture became Languages, Words to Sentences, Sentences on Bay leaf , Bay leaf to Books, Books to softcopies, Books to Audios, Books to Videos and so on, learning time started reducing as competition increased. There is lot more competation in understanding a concept in less time.
We are now in the phase of Fast learning with less time, there was a time people did not know time other sun rise and sunset and that was routine, now we count on every second, milli seconds living on the planet earth.
U might ask now.. Why are telling me all this stuff?. what are trying to here?

Most people might say ..Might be , as internet is growing a lot, or might not be as there are people who like to read hard copies instead of sitting infront of computer. Leaving this part of dicussion to people who do the market analysis.
How many people would like to read the whole book or whole newspaper by any chance? There was a day when it was 100 %, when it was only media of communication, it's not now, people dont have time for it.
Here i am in a conversation with one of my friend during our lunch hour and he is great guy trying to achieve goal as an Enterprise Architect and may be bigger than that. He started putting his time on reaching his goals for past few years. I hear him reading a lot of books. We got into conversation on his a reading skills..
My friend .. " Over the time period, i have created a pattern of reading - i will not read any book from page 1 till end... Read summary.. Main topics.. read examples if you dont get it.. " ..
Me : I said its interesting..
But by the way with your examples on some topics, i thought you read till end .. How could you not get bored of reading..!!!
My friend : I dont read books always.. You know.. I do other things too.. when i do get bored..
Me.. Like what..?
My friend : When i feel interested about the author .. or the content.. I read blogs about the books and person.. Blogs makes more interesting .. It reduces of lot time.. . Less content to what was their in the book, more to point.. reduces time..
Me.. Wow..it made me dig more about next things he does. What else..
My friend .. Sometime .. These author/leaders give some speeches, attend talks at MNC's, a gathering, and so on and talk about the what they wrote and follow.. Those speeches or talks will be more crisp and clear, as they have utilze their stupilated time.. But still they make a point of leave listeners with great Impact.
Youtube.. has so many videos like this.. Google does this so often with all these great authors/leaders and motivators..
I am still amazed with this conversation and learnt how this lean learning skills, media,communication channels,short time span made a big difference in our life of learning and being at our best in the WORLD OF COMPETITION and living in Super fast life. ..
